The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when ATE AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Victor Răcănel put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Vela.

The wind increased when Albert Panaitoiu made the kick off in the second half. RED BLUE STAR's Albert Panaitoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ATE AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RED BLUE STAR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
