In the 4th minute, Ceferino Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Cordaryal's late challenge caught a IFK Kik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Cordaryal helped the player get up and apologised. Benito Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Conrado Ilixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kennet Åhlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Conrado Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kennet Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ATE AFC's Gabriel Vela got control of the ball when Mark Siggman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Lindberg in the 25th minute of play forced ATE AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Kruuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Vela. ATE AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Åke Kruuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, ATE AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Lindberg came free, but Gabriel Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Conrado Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes ATE AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Beltxe. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Kruuse was the one to do the kick off. IFK Kik's Nils-Åke Kruuse got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Lindberg in the 55th minute of play forced ATE AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ATE AFC defense, Nils-Åke Kruuse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Vela. The ATE AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Vela should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, ATE AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Lindberg came free, but Gabriel Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Billock to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Vase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IFK Kik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Anastasio Macerio scored to the left of an out of position Kennet Åhlberg, making the score, 2-2. IFK Kik were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
