Romário da Rocha took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionuț Moșneanu. Ionuț Moșneanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Romário da Rocha came free, but Ionuț Moșneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Panaitoiu to maneuver through the defense. Ionuț Moșneanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Recife went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mateus de Senna had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Albert Panaitoiu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Juventus EC's Ernani Paraense got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Pociu. 35 minutes into the game, Albert Panaitoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateus de Senna. Albert Panaitoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. José Paulo Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Răcănel came free, but Mateus de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Daniel Arapașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Albert Panaitoiu made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Răcănel in the 54th minute of play forced Juventus EC's goalkeeper Mateus de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st play minute Romário da Rocha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ionuț Moșneanu. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Albert Panaitoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateus de Senna was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Ferdinand Pociu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Luz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ionuț Moșneanu. RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ferdinand Pociu fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED BLUE STAR's protests and gave Ferdinand Pociu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ferdinand Pociu hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Victor Răcănel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Recife during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Frederico Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, RED BLUE STAR's Albert Panaitoiu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juventus EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
