After 4 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Herauso. IFK Kik's Kennet Åhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Kik from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, EL PEPO FC's Rafael Clodio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Melquiades Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Kruuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Stig Vase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Rafael Clodio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Åhlberg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Vase to maneuver through the defense. During the 31st minute of the match Stig Vase completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stig Vase a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 31 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Stig Vase. Rafael Clodio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Kennet Åhlberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nils-Åke Kruuse made the kick off in the second half. Anders Jakobsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. When Evert Lindberg fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Kik's protests and gave Evert Lindberg a yellow card for diving instead. EL PEPO FC made a substitution. Isaac Tiso replaced Ezequiel Boniel. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Stig-Åke Skoog hit a great ball. If Edgard Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Rafael Clodio put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kennet Åhlberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Clodio in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kennet Åhlberg saved IFK Kik from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Nils-Åke Kruuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Clodio in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kennet Åhlberg saved IFK Kik from getting behind. Nils-Åke Kruuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Melquiades Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the IFK Kik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EL PEPO FC.
