Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrik Foldnes started the match with the kick off. When Giuseppe Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vista Alegre FC's protests and gave Giuseppe Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Giuseppe Cearense got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Vestfjorden FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Hortêncio Senna scored to the left of an out of position Tor-Egil Aanes, making the score, 1-0. Vista Alegre FC's Celso Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halvard Ernstsen in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Henrik Foldnes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vista Alegre FC's Celso Paulista. Celso Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 minutes of play, Vista Alegre FC's Paulo Renato Dracena made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor-Egil Aanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harald Hamnes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tor-Egil Aanes came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Vista Alegre FC's Paulo Renato Dracena. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Paulo Renato Dracena got a free kick in the 31st minute. Vista Alegre FC's Celso Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Petter Bartnes in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Dráuzio de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Vista Alegre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Penha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vestfjorden FK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Åsmund Solbakk hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, Vestfjorden FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åsmund Solbakk to maneuver through the defense. Vestfjorden FK's Tor-Egil Aanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Bueno in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Henrik Foldnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Celso Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hortêncio Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Halvard Ernstsens short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Celso Paulista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dráuzio de Alcântara hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Vestfjorden FK's Halvard Ernstsen in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 65th minute, Henrik Foldnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Paulista was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 68th minute of the match, Halvard Ernstsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celso Paulista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute, Hortêncio Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tor-Egil Aanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Henrik Foldnes took a quick shot and it went in 5-4 without a chance for Celso Paulista to make any attempt to save it. Celso Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Foldnes in the 82nd minute of play. Hans-Petter Bartnes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Celso Paulista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Vista Alegre FC's Celso Paulista got control of the ball when Henrik Foldnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Paulista was a little too slow when Henrik Foldnes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-5. Despite being the better team, Vestfjorden FK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
