A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nilton da Rocha hit a great ball. After 10 minutes, Pascual Ledesma made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mochila FC's Ramón Veiga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilson Sergipano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernabe Aimar came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilson Sergipano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. Jeronimo Loren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. Diego Proença walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Gilson Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Aimar having to interfere. Nuno Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gilson Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Bernabe Aimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mochila FC. When Mochila FC's Gilson Sergipano in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilson Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. Walmir Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when RCD CARABANCHEL SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Mikelats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Sergipano in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mochila FC's Gilson Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mochila FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Mochila FC's Gilson Sergipano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernabe Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Sergipano in the 71st minute of the match. Bernabe Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilson Sergipano in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Aimar saved RCD CARABANCHEL SAD from getting behind. If Nuno Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Falcão during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Falcão. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mochila FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while RCD CARABANCHEL SAD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
