Tomé França came out and tried to block the shot, but Hortêncio Senna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Tomé França made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Diogo Bueno sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafinha de Barros during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha de Barros to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hortêncio Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio de Alcântara. Silas Ferraz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juarês de Sousa. Mochila FC's Rafinha de Barros got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Rafinha de Barros off the ground. Rafinha de Barros hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Vista Alegre FC's Diogo Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
