Slipmaskinerna's Roy Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Wennerström in the 15th minute of play. Roy Hansson came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bispmotala BK's Axel Utter. But to his dismay, Axel Utter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roy Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Magne Giöck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slipmaskinerna and the Bispmotala BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Slipmaskinerna getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Magne Giöck hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Bispmotala BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Andersson came free, but Christer Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Rolf Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Lundkvist in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Axel Utter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bispmotala BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slipmaskinerna the free kick. A collision led to Bispmotala BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Axel Utter hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Bispmotala BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Gråberg to maneuver through the defense. If Tony Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Karlsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christer Wallgren. Bispmotala BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Magne Giöck took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Wallgren. Christer Wallgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konrad Valström to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolf Karlsson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Lundkvist, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Axel Utter came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bispmotala BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Utter couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Slipmaskinerna's zone, Rune Brandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Hansson came out of the goal and Rune Brandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bispmotala BK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kent Lindmark hit a great ball. Christer Wallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jens-Åke Damm fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bispmotala BK's protests and gave Jens-Åke Damm a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Bispmotala BK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Damm. In the 68th minute Tony Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Wallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Konrad Valström made a precise shot to the right of Christer Wallgren. Bispmotala BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Bispmotala BK's Rune Brandt got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 83rd minute of the match Hans Gråberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hans Gråberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Andreas Wennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Roy Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Axel Utter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bispmotala BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Utter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Bispmotala BK got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Wennerström. Christer Wallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Giöck in the 93rd minute of the match. Christer Wallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Asserlindh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Slipmaskinerna had won after a very even match.
