But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chano Noriega couldn't finish the play. Chano Noriega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 14 minutes, Eladio Barajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASI NOMAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eladio Barajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th match minute, ASI NOMAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Villadiego to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Ángel Luque made a great header on Manuel Rodríguez 1186's corner, it was just that ASI NOMAS FC's Sagrario Adan managed to reach the ball for a save. Sagrario Adan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarías Camus in the 24th minute. Miguel Ángel Luque hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Chano Noriega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Marrodan having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Nastasio Faez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, one of ASI NOMAS FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ASI NOMAS FC. Alexandre Marrodan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chano Noriega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Marrodan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eladio Barajas went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nastasio Faez made a kick off. Rogerio Carte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes ASI NOMAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Formerio Parserises. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarías Camus in the 58th minute of play forced ASI NOMAS FC's goalkeeper Sagrario Adan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Manuel Rodríguez 1186 defense, Esquipula Ascarza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Marrodan. The Manuel Rodríguez 1186 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Marrodan should have stopped the shot. Sagrario Adan came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Florinio Ganter. But to his dismay, Florinio Ganter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Jeraldo Manns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sagrario Adan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Manuel Rodríguez 1186 booed when ASI NOMAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Villadiego didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Miguel Ángel Luque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sagrario Adan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Chano Noriega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bairon Borja's late challenge caught a ASI NOMAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bairon Borja helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ASI NOMAS FC booed when Manuel Rodríguez 1186 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairon Borja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esquipula Ascarza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
