Juliusz Piesciuk hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Eugeniusz Rakoski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Edgardo Kinsen made a huge save. Silvestre Marcones hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Edgardo Kinsen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stefan Rutkowski. Eugeniusz Rakoski in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgardo Kinsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Elija to maneuver through the defense. Juliusz Piesciuk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Kinsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 22 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Ariando. 23 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Stefan Rutkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Kinsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Boruta to maneuver through the defense. Eugeniusz Rakoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edgardo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Edgardo Kinsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Rakoski. In the 46th minute Camilo Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Barowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eugeniusz Rakoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Palben stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Juliusz Piesciuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Edgardo Kinsen came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Tolek Pankowski. But to his dismay, Tolek Pankowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Edgardo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Piesciuk in the 67th minute of play. Juliusz Piesciuk scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Kinsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Rakoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Pankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Flavio Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Barowicz having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Silvestre Marcones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ the free kick. The supporters of KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cipriano Martino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ defense, Tolek Pankowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Kinsen. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Kinsen should have stopped the shot. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
