Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Felipillo started the match with the kick off. Guaberto Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Huston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's Ferdinand Bauer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Dayam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Roy Huston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oswaldo Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Dayam having to interfere. J.P. Marion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Felipillo in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy Huston to make the kick off. Roy Huston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Guaberto Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Bauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Ekialde hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. J.P. Marion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Felipillo in the 61st minute of play. C. A. Independiente's Weldon Morrow got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, AC InmENZO 09-12-2018's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Bauer came free, but Guaberto Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Bauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Guaberto Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Hermengildo Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Oswaldo Acosta got a free kick in the 86th minute. Weldon Morrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reggie Keen fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Independiente's protests and gave Reggie Keen a yellow card for diving instead. Reggie Keen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. A. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
