Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) C. A. Independiente's Levi Clement proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. Levi Clement made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Behçet Polatkılıç sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Ashley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Demirhan İltan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Bircan Ulaç reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Levi Clement. The goal made the score 1-0. Behçet Polatkılıç struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Levi Clement didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basmane Texas. A collision led to Basmane Texas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Behzat Arslantürk hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bircan Ulaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Levi Clement was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyd Ashley to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Levi Clement got control of the ball when Bircan Ulaç tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Basmane Texas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hüsmen Bartu hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Chad Carrier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nurtekin İskandil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Roy Huston took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nurtekin İskandil. Nurtekin İskandil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Huston to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Bauer struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nurtekin İskandil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Independiente. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göksun Erdursun during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Göksun Erdursun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Weldon Morrow managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Weldon Morrow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nurtekin İskandil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Weldon Morrow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nurtekin İskandil. Basmane Texas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Weldon Morrow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 76 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Ashley. Basmane Texas's Bircan Ulaç got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boyd Ashley got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Behzat Arslantürk struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Levi Clement didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basmane Texas. Behzat Arslantürk kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. C. A. Independiente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
