A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Juan Mendieta hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Franklin Smith got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when Buenaventura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joe Oberto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gaffar Tanbay. After 10 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Lao. Franklin Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Joe Oberto made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Nurtekin İskandil sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Smith in the 23rd minute of play forced Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Demirhan İltan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Alejandro Lao got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Gaffar Tanbay. Demirhan İltan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toto Pinilla in the 26th minute of the match. Suphi Reha's late challenge caught a Buenaventura FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Suphi Reha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Basmane Texas's Suphi Reha got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bircan Ulaç sped through Buenaventura FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joe Oberto. Joe Oberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bircan Ulaç in the 42nd minute of play. Joe Oberto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gaffar Tanbay. Juan Mendieta hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Joe Oberto came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Basmane Texas's Nurtekin İskandil. But to his dismay, Nurtekin İskandil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Demirhan İltan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Smith in the 54th minute. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Reha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes, Buenaventura FC's Orlando Fernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demirhan İltan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buenaventura FC reached it. In the 62nd minute, Nurtekin İskandil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joe Oberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute of the match Gaffar Tanbay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joe Oberto skillfully saved the ball. Hüsmen Bartu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Buenaventura FC's Orlando Fernandez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Demirhan İltan but with some difficulty. After 74 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Gil. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Juan Mendieta got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gaffar Tanbay fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 77th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 78th minute Bircan Ulaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Oberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Nurtekin İskandil heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 85th match minute, Basmane Texas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaffar Tanbay to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Buenaventura FC were awarded a corner. Orlando Fernandez went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 89th minute Franklin Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demirhan İltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Basmane Texas fully deserved thier win.
