Celsinho Tróia started the match with the kick off. Ubaldo Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Augusto Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Jago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aguinhas's zone, Astor Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Moreno came out of the goal and Astor Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Guedes during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damian Udalaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Celsinho Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ubaldo Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Enrique Fresco hit a great ball. After 18 minutes of play Aguinhas's Augusto Guedes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th match minute, Aguinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Aguinhas's Maurício Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Celsinho Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Aguinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Tróia couldn't finish the play. Aldo Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Moreno having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Aguinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Leão to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Jago made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Celsinho Tróia sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Shantala to make the kick off. Celsinho Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ubaldo Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Damian Udalaitz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Aguinhas's Breno Moreno got control of the ball when Aldo Shantala tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Aguinhas booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Jago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Tróia in the 95th minute of the match. Astor Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arroyito FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
