Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Knut Kuschel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eugenio Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Kuschel in the 3rd minute of the match. If Brix Block had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Diego Abajas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Kaplan booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Kuschel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Calisto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Konrad Bogs made a huge save. Claudio Mundo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Abelardo Ledesma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Eugenio Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Kaiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Konrad Bogs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Ledesma in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's Tim Hermes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Paz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Evaristo Gabino made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Diego Abajas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaplan and the Möhnsen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Diego Abajas hit a great ball. Kaplan's Adolfo Horado was substituted for Evaristo Gabino. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Brix Block managed to get in a good position for a shot. Möhnsen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brix Block was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Günther Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Horado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrad Bogs was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th match minute, Möhnsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Popp to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Mateus. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kaplan had won after a very even match.
