Konrad Bogs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Abar in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Filomeno Perrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Hermes. Jacinto Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jaime Abar came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Q. T. I. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Abar couldn't finish the play. When Jacinto Cidro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Q. T. I. fans jumped to their feet. Filomeno Perrando made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Knut Kuschel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Möhnsen FC's Mark Stedefeldt got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gaston Stanislao's late challenge caught a Möhnsen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Stanislao helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Cruz in the 42nd minute of play forced Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Konrad Bogs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Möhnsen FC's Konrad Bogs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Cidro in the 44th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Knut Kuschel. Rodrigo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Knut Kuschel was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Abar during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Abar to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Kuschel in the 61st minute of play. Q. T. I. were furious when Gaudencio Chaime was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Q. T. I.! The referee gave Möhnsen FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brix Block, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando. 1-0. Knut Kuschel took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Perrando. Filomeno Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Konrad Bogs came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Q. T. I.'s Jacinto Cidro. But to his dismay, Jacinto Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 89th minute Jaime Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Bogs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
