Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Evaristo Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cefero having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Angel Calisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaplan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Calisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fernando Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Gabino in the 20th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Evaristo Gabino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Gabino in the 23rd minute of play. If Evaristo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nunez Urtzi fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaplan's protests and gave Nunez Urtzi a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kaplan! Nestor Eskuin scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Paz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Aldo Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cefero having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Angel Calisto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Gartxot charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Gartxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chacarita Jrs! Chacarita Jrs:s Fernando Cefero showed great skill when he stopped Nemesio Mateus:s penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Ekain was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Claudio Mundo hit a great ball. Eugenio Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Ekain in the 64th minute of play. Fernando Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Gabino might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Cefero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Gabino ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaplan made a substitution. Adolfo Horado replaced Evaristo Gabino. Eugenio Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Gamus in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Cosme Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Horado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Cefero. That made the score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. Angel Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Cefero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Abelardo Ledesma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fernando Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Eskuin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaplan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
