Filomeno Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aldo Ekain made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute of the match, Jaime Abar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Cefero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Angelo Ciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Filomeno Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Jacinto Cidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Q. T. I.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Cidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Abar in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Cefero saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. Nestor Eskuin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jacinto Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Q. T. I.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor Eskuin was slow to take the kick. During this time Chacarita Jrs's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chacarita Jrs's Nestor Eskuin to fire away a dangerous shot which Filomeno Perrando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gaston Stanislao hit a great ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Aldo Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gaston Stanislao hit a great ball. The Chacarita Jrs players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
