The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Reynaldo Cuartio got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Shantala in the 11th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Filomeno Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Mikeldi in the 13th minute of the match. During the 14th minute of the match Reynaldo Cuartio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Reynaldo Cuartio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 14 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Cuartio. Ubaldo Jago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Abar in the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aldo Shantala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Perrando was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Abar came free, but Ubaldo Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Shantala came free, but Filomeno Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Shantala in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aldo Shantala made the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Perrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Shantala in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Gaston Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Totakoxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Filomeno Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Cidro in the 60th minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Jago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Abar in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Abar came free, but Ubaldo Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Fresco hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jaime Abar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aldo Shantala hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Q. T. I.'s zone, Dante Totakoxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Perrando came out of the goal and Dante Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dante Totakoxe came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Arroyito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Totakoxe couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Shantala got free with Filomeno Perrando in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Filomeno Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
