After 10 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Totakoxe. Timo Elgert charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timo Elgert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Elgert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Aldo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Bogs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Bogs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Shantala in the 22nd minute. If Hellmut Eilers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Yavuz Köffers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Möhnsen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Köffers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hellmut Eilers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Jago having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Shantala during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jes Klanthe kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Yavuz Köffers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ubaldo Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Shantala to make the kick off. Arroyito FC's Ubaldo Jago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyito FC from getting a goal against them. Ubaldo Jago made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Yavuz Köffers sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Totakoxe during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's Brix Block sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Jago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Günther Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hellmut Eilers struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ubaldo Jago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Möhnsen FC. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Ubaldo Jago got control of the ball when Yavuz Köffers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Jago made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Hellmut Eilers sent off a good shot on target. After 94 minutes of play Arroyito FC's Dante Totakoxe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dante Totakoxe hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Arroyito FC's Ubaldo Jago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyito FC from getting a goal against them.
