Tolek Buczak started the match with the kick off. Vilgot Nilsson's late challenge caught a Opus Dei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Vilgot Nilsson hit a great ball. Tolek Buczak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magne Axelsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Tolek Buczak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Magne Axelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes Finninge Fotboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norbert Poremba who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Edmund Sakowicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Magne Axelsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Konrad Pisarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Zander in the 16th minute of play. Konrad Pisarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tolek Buczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotr Bednarek hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Opus Dei's Tolek Buczak got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Zander's late challenge caught a Opus Dei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Zander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Vilhelm Zander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Tolek Buczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Larsson was the one to do the kick off. Tolek Buczak struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Magne Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opus Dei. Slawomir Plaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Dudek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Opus Dei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finninge Fotboll the free kick. Konrad Pisarczyk had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping John Larsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Opus Dei's Konrad Pisarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Larsson in the 60th minute of play. John Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
