After 17 played minutes, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Panait Hrib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Concetto Vasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 reached it. Ferruccio Castronovo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Anthony Tonon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Iosif Foltea was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Ferruccio Castronovo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferruccio Castronovo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Leontin Cotoi took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Vasco. Concetto Vasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurel Gorunescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Anthony Tonon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Iosif Foltea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Castronovo in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Panait Hrib got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Iosif Foltea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Castronovo in the 74th minute of the match. Anthony Tonon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Concetto Vasco was a little too slow when Leontin Cotoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-2. Dave Galante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Foltea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrea Tocchetto during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes A.S. Ian Fenomeni got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Tocchetto. Cristi Boboc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
