After 3 minutes, Ferdinando Punta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Ian Fenomeni and the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Punta to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ferruccio Castronovo sped through FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Miranda. In the 11th minute, Ferruccio Castronovo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Castronovo came free, but Thiago Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, A.S. Thiago Miranda came out of the goal and Ferruccio Castronovo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Ferruccio Castronovo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Castronovo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Castronovo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferruccio Castronovo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Francisco Barbosa during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute of the match Ferruccio Castronovo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Miranda skillfully saved the ball. Ferruccio Castronovo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 75th playminute. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Concetto Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Perez in the 82nd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Tonon to maneuver through the defense. The FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A.S. Ian Fenomeni's performance. The match ended with a win for A.S. Ian Fenomeni.
