Konrad Pisarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Gorunescu in the 2nd minute of the match. Iosif Foltea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Plaski in the 12th minute of the match. Iosif Foltea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Nienajadlo in the 13th minute of play. Korneliusz Nienajadlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. Iosif Foltea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korneliusz Nienajadlo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Konrad Pisarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Cotoi in the 26th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Korneliusz Nienajadlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Opus Dei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Slawomir Plaski struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Iosif Foltea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opus Dei. In the 39th minute, Panait Hrib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Korneliusz Nienajadlo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Opus Dei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Nienajadlo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Nienajadlo in the 46th minute of play forced ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalkeeper Iosif Foltea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Opus Dei were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Korneliusz Nienajadlo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Filip Chițu hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match, Slawomir Plaski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iosif Foltea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Opus Dei's Konrad Pisarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Hrib in the 55th minute of play. Iosif Foltea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korneliusz Nienajadlo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes Opus Dei got a freekick which was hit by Miromir Zworski. After a defensive mix-up in ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's zone, Slawomir Plaski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Foltea came out of the goal and Slawomir Plaski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Opus Dei getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Miromir Zworski hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Cristi Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Pisarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Pisarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Cotoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Opus Dei's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Boboc came free, but Konrad Pisarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Opus Dei defense, Aurel Gorunescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konrad Pisarczyk. The Opus Dei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konrad Pisarczyk should have stopped the shot. Aurel Gorunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Konrad Pisarczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aurel Gorunescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Opus Dei's Edmund Sakowicz got a free kick in the 89th minute.
