Ferdinando Punta's late challenge caught a Pombal 2003 F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferruccio Castronovo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilson Arósio. 0-2. Gilson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Tonon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Anthony Tonon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilson Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After 61 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo de Carvalho. Anfilogino Tenaglia hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Cícero Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 77 minutes into the game, A.S. Ian Fenomeni still came away with the win.
