Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Newcastle United's Wlodzimierz Siwy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Cícero Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Kajetan Kossakowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dawid Zacharek hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Negri in the 5th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kajetan Kossakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waclaw Zagrobelny kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mateusz Polakowski hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Cícero Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Ribeiro in the 17th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Domingues. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wlodzimierz Siwy got free with Gilson Arósio in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Gilson Arósio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Zacharek, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Joélson Negri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajetan Kossakowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Ribeiro came free, but Kajetan Kossakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Cícero Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wlodzimierz Siwy.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. Kajetan Kossakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Lago in the 51st minute of the match. Kajetan Kossakowski came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Cássio Severo. But to his dismay, Cássio Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gustaw Nuszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Polakowski in the 67th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newcastle United's Kajetan Kossakowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. Kajetan Kossakowski was a little too slow when Cícero Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-4. 81 minutes into the game, Wlodzimierz Siwy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gilson Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kajetan Kossakowski was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Cícero Ribeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cícero Ribeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Siwy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Newcastle United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pombal 2003 F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
