An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Travis in the 8th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Donato Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Otis Robles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Ignazio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Rolando Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Itzaina, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Donato Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otis Robles in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Argentinos Juniors's Donato Ignazio got control of the ball when Royce Dwyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Inmortales FC's Mike Travis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Ignazio. Donato Ignazio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Royce Dwyer took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Donato Ignazio to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Argentinos Juniors's Donato Ignazio got control of the ball when Otis Robles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Cormier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Royce Dwyer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Ignazio, 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Travis made a kick off. Wade Hadley hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Royce Dwyer charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Royce Dwyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Royce Dwyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tod Clark fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inmortales FC's protests and gave Tod Clark a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mike Travis scored 7-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Ignazio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royce Dwyer in the 76th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Donato Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Travis in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Sneed came free, but Donato Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
