In the 7th minute Percival Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Norberto de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inmortales FC the free kick. After 9 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Norberto de Carvalho. In the 9th minute of the match Edward Harrison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Percival Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Winkler having to interfere. Pedro Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Pedro Vander got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Mike Travis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio dos Santos. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio dos Santos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zack Sneed hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Roger Rossi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Winkler skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Mike Travis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Travis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute of the match, Otis Robles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Caio dos Santos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 32 minutes into the game, Inmortales FC's Royce Dwyer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 36th minute, Mike Travis made a precise shot to the right of Caio dos Santos. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Caio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Travis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Harrison to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Percival Marinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Winkler skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Mazza made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's Percival Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Winkler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Royce Dwyer struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Caio dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inmortales FC. Thomas Cormier took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio dos Santos. Caio dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. With a little luck, Inmortales FC's Rolando Winkler got control of the ball when Percival Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Pedro Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Travis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Caio dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otis Robles in the 83rd minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Otis Robles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inmortales FC's Rolando Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Mazza in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Roger Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Travis in the 91st minute of play. Caio dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otis Robles's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
