Inter de Munique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otis Robles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Otis Robles's late challenge caught a Inter de Munique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Mike Travis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Otis Robles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Edgard Alvarenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Munique's zone, Otis Robles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Alvarenga came out of the goal and Otis Robles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Travis made a kick off. Rafa Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Inmortales FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Eurico de Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Winkler, making the score, 2-1. In the 76th minute Mike Travis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
