Leandro Ubarna started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the game, Norberto de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dogo Argentino the free kick. Norberto de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dogo Argentino's Emilio Lorien couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maverick Futebol Clube. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Percival Marinho got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute, Moises Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leandro Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Pedro Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the Dogo Argentino players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Vander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Moises Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogo Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Norberto de Carvalho got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Leandro Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eurico Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Percival Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maverick Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Percival Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eurico Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Marinho in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute Sérgio Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Iraunkor's late challenge caught a Maverick Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Iraunkor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dogo Argentino's Angel Iraunkor got a free kick in the 57th minute. Raimundo Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Caio dos Santos was a little too slow when Moises Godoy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 67 played minutes, Maverick Futebol Clube's Percival Marinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimundo Miro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maverick Futebol Clube reached it. If Moises Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Abel Coutinho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Godoy in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio dos Santos saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, Dogo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Endura to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Marinho came free, but Raimundo Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ademar Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dogo Argentino's Emilio Lorien couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maverick Futebol Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Mazza in the 85th minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pedro Vander hit a great ball. Dogo Argentino's Angel Iraunkor got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Moises Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Dogo Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Godoy couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
