In the 9th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byron Burkett to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Mike Travis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Travis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Mike Travis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inmortales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Guacho Pistola the free kick. Mike Travis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Rolando Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Cordarrel in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los Guacho Pistola's zone, Mike Travis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Urtzi came out of the goal and Mike Travis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mike Travis hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Segundo Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Winford Barnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inmortales FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ladislao Cordarrel 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 35 minutes into the game, Pascual Bidari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 35 played minutes Los Guacho Pistola got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Bidari. When Royce Dwyer came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Inmortales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Royce Dwyer couldn't finish the play. Rolando Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Darien in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Wade Hadley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Bidari missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 42 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Rolando Winkler right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 51st minute Segundo Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Los Guacho Pistola booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Guacho Pistola booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winford Barnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Darien in the 67th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Rolando Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winford Barnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Virgilio Gomesano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Winkler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Ladislao Cordarrel made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Winkler. Inmortales FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Serafino Pio hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Domingos Urtzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Byron Burkett. In the 83rd minute Segundo Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Edward Harrison put in a rough tackle.
