In the 10th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milio Mondragon to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalkeeper Faustino Horado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hitz Valiente. The supporters of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Sobrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perpinya Nevares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Min in the 24th minute of play. Perpinya Nevares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Ibon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Wilfredo Ibon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Obeko Echaitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Min came free, but Perpinya Nevares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
