In a very dangerous position, a player in Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Cauã Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marcelo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Emerson Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Alves. The Mayhem Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Alves should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Alves was a little too slow when Emerson Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. Christian Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Trigo went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Marcelo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Emerson Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rony Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Costa took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Damião made a kick off. Cauã Ortiz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Trigo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Matos saved Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. from getting behind. Christian Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Trigo in the 58th minute. 4-4 became the score in the 59th minute when Douglas Trigo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Damião to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Christian Matos made a huge save. Christian Matos made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Douglas Trigo sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Costa came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mayhem Sharks eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
