The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red Proud FC. 88 minutes into the match, Emerson Costa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Red Proud FC's Santiago Azevedo. Santiago Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Léo Linhares. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
