Mayhem Sharks's Edgard Neto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Mayhem Sharks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Meira in the 21st minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Santiago Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Prates hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Júlio Pais took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The wind increased when Rony Meira made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Red Proud FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Ton Torres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Meira in the 62nd minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Santiago Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Ferreira came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Pais in the 72nd minute. 80 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Pais. After 81 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Ferreira. After a defensive mix-up in Red Proud FC's zone, Rony Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Azevedo came out of the goal and Rony Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Rony Meira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Santiago Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sidnei Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidnei Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sidnei Monteiro hit a great ball. Santiago Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Meira in the 93rd minute of play. Júlio Pais came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Alves could save by the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
