After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ivan Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Domínguez AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Caitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ante Buchberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Edgar Rau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Veronica was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alois Fontagnier to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Strerath to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Robustiano Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Domínguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Sayvion. Mateo Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Caitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ante Buchberger made a huge save. Mateo Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebald Gillesen in the 21st minute of the match. Edgar Rau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Cornelio Luke made a precise shot to the right of Ante Buchberger. KFC Uerdingen 05's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Alois Fontagnier put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in KFC Uerdingen 05 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Domínguez AFC. Cornelio Luke stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ante Buchberger. 2-1. Robustiano Txilar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ante Buchberger came out and tried to block the shot, but Robustiano Txilar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 33rd minute. The supporters of KFC Uerdingen 05 booed when Domínguez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Sayvion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ellis Jakob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Veronica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Txilar to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Domínguez AFC's Saverio Maore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ante Buchberger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Robustiano Hibai put in a rough tackle. In the 55th match minute, Domínguez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Hibai to maneuver through the defense. Domínguez AFC's Mateo Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Strerath in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute KFC Uerdingen 05 were awarded a corner. Ellis Jakob went to the cornerflag to take it. Robustiano Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ante Buchberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Friedemann Brede got a free kick in the 67th minute. Mateo Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Strerath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Cornelio Luke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ante Buchberger. KFC Uerdingen 05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Luke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. With a little luck, Domínguez AFC's Mateo Veronica got control of the ball when Sebald Gillesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Cornelio Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ante Buchberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
