Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rony Meira started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebald Gillesen got free with Marcelo Alves in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mayhem Sharks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! 15 minutes into the game, Kai Laakmann threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mayhem Sharks's Ton Torres quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebald Gillesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Riccardo Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mayhem Sharks and the KFC Uerdingen 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Riccardo Zonta got a free kick in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Robert Strerath recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Alves. Robert Strerath showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 26th minute of the game Kai Laakmann made a throw-in which Friedemann Brede played forward. Kai Laakmann made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Friedemann Brede immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Uerdingen 05's Sebald Gillesen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Alves. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Strerath in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Edgar Rau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebald Gillesen in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Sebald Gillesen made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Rau went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Rony Meira fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mayhem Sharks's protests and gave Rony Meira a yellow card for diving instead. Rony Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marcelo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Rintzel in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Strerath came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KFC Uerdingen 05 booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebald Gillesen in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Alois Fontagnier got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Riccardo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Rau in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Edgar Rau made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Sebald Gillesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Robert Strerath made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Alves. Mayhem Sharks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KFC Uerdingen 05 fully deserved thier win.
