Erdinç İkbal had several of the JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gerardo Olano as he didn't even see the shot coming. The corner led Los Valientes's Mehmet Bedri Rüştü to fire away a dangerous shot which Gerardo Olano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şerafettin Ilgın got free with Gerardo Olano in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şerafettin Ilgın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerardo Olano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Los Valientes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mehmet Bedri Rüştü in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Şerafettin Ilgın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Olano was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
