Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeremias Abechuco took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Bernard Cremers fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Antwerp FC's protests and gave Bernard Cremers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Bernard Cremers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Faustino Burutzagi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⛥Milrayitas⛤ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Jeremias Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ⛥Milrayitas⛤ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Abechuco couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Jorge Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck vrolijx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Jeremias Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Roman Salomone came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the ⛥Milrayitas⛤ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Salomone couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Faustino Burutzagi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franck vrolijx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp FC's zone, Roman Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franck vrolijx came out of the goal and Roman Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Faustino Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Faustino Burutzagi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Franck vrolijx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Abechuco in the 59th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Franck vrolijx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp FC's zone, Jeremias Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 67th minute, Roman Salomone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Roman Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Jeremias Abechuco got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franck vrolijx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Burutzagi in the 74th minute. Roman Salomone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Cremers to maneuver through the defense. Franck vrolijx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Roman Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Franck vrolijx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Burutzagi. In the 86th minute, Joannes Grootjans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Faustino Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck vrolijx having to interfere. Jeremias Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
