Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jo Bag started the match with the kick off. A collision led to PreservemospolladeaguaFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Desiderio Revuelta hit a great ball. Desiderio Revuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Galati Harbour Cats's Vali Ghețea got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Joaquin Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Ghețea in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, PreservemospolladeaguaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Ghețea came free, but Joaquin Roca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Jo Bag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Roca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Agachi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eskuin Llorente's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Vali Ghețea hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. George Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskuin Llorente in the 24th minute of play. Frodo Blazquez charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frodo Blazquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Vali Ghețea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Roca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 36th minute, Vali Ghețea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Vali Ghețea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joaquin Roca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Vali Ghețea hit a great ball. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Joaquin Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Ghețea in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eskuin Llorente was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, PreservemospolladeaguaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Revuelta to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Şoltuz to maneuver through the defense. George Agachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frodo Blazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Eskuin Llorente got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vali Ghețea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Joaquin Roca made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vali Ghețea in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Roca saved PreservemospolladeaguaFC from getting behind. Eskuin Llorente might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Agachi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eskuin Llorente ran back to his position shaking his head. Alin Şoltuz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Galati Harbour Cats were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant PreservemospolladeaguaFC side.
