The referee ignored Chigüires De Mogadiscio's protests and gave Claus Vellon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Claus Vellon got a free kick in the 15th minute. Yboy Black's Răzvan Cângea got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Abel Betoño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Betoño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Tarcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Yboy Black got a freekick which was hit by Toader Lăzăroiu. In the 21st minute of the match Tadeo Sarmiento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Tarcea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Abel Betoño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Betoño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Yboy Black's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Vellon came free, but Adrian Tarcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Lăzăroiu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toader Lăzăroiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claus Vellon struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Adrian Tarcea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chigüires De Mogadiscio. Adrian Tarcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Betoño in the 28th minute of play. Adrian Tarcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Vellon, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Yboy Black defense, Claus Vellon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Tarcea. The Yboy Black fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Tarcea should have stopped the shot. Abel Betoño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claus Vellon made a kick off. The long shot by Abel Betoño in the 52nd minute really tested Adrian Tarcea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Urritz Planes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Claus Vellon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
