The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Filipe Botelho got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Tadeo Sarmiento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Lara skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Urritz Planes got a free kick in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Custódio came free, but Peruanton Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Peruanton Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Custódio in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Isaio Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Francisco de Carvalho got a free kick in the 32nd minute. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Belmiro Pombal was substituted for Claudinho Valle. 42 minutes into the game, Mauro Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chigüires De Mogadiscio the free kick. Mauro Abreu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. André Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaio Sagrario was the one to do the kick off. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Peruanton Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco de Carvalho in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Vicente Lara got control of the ball when Nuno Tovilleja tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco de Carvalho came free, but Peruanton Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peruanton Gayoso having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TRICOSHOW F.CLUB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chigüires De Mogadiscio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
