Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Waclaw Marud started the match with the kick off. Squadra Demarchi's Richard Moura managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wieslaw Szarmach in the 10 minute of the game. Waclaw Marud struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Oscar Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito. Radomir Bienienda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Kléber Queirós got a very nice opportunity to score, but Radomir Bienienda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito's Waclaw Marud. But to his dismay, Waclaw Marud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Marud came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexsandro Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Radomir Bienienda made a huge save. Radomir Bienienda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Britto in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Squadra Demarchi's Alexsandro Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomir Bienienda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kléber Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Demarchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Bienienda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexsandro Britto to make the kick off. Joga Bonito's Radomir Bienienda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 61st minute of play. When Mané Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Mané Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Radomir Bienienda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kléber Queirós went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ludomir Lisewskis short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Oscar Saldanha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Kléber Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Bienienda was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Nelson Vidal lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Squadra Demarchi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Joga Bonito:s goal. Oscar Saldanha had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Wieslaw Szarmach's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Oscar Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wieslaw Szarmach went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Alexsandro Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Bienienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Waclaw Marud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waclaw Marud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Joga Bonito players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Squadra Demarchi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
