The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Matías de Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ulises Bastian made a huge save. With his leg Ulises Bastian managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Matías de Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Diego da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Bastian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
