Toa Toa 4EVER's Diguinho Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walmyr Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Radomir Japola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toa Toa 4EVER. In the 11th minute Jairo Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Japola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Bertassi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radomir Japola. Joga Bonito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Walmyr Cardoso hit a great ball. Radomir Japola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wieslaw Szarmach kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Raí Viana in the 24th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Radomir Japola's left hand side. In the 25th minute, Diguinho Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toa Toa 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Walmyr Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toa Toa 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joga Bonito the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Toa Toa 4EVER's João Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Dula in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Teofil Zyskowski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Toa Toa 4EVER's Walmyr Cardoso got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Walmyr Cardoso off the ground. After a rather tough play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Walmyr Cardoso got a free kick in the 37th minute. João Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Dula, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Jairo Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Japola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Quintal came free, but Radomir Japola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Japola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diguinho Nunes made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Quintal in the 51st minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Radomir Japola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Marcin Bartoszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Marcin Bartoszek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joga Bonito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. João Freitas came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito's Fabian Cichocki. But to his dismay, Fabian Cichocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Joga Bonito's Radomir Japola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Joga Bonito from getting a goal against them. Acácio de Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radomir Japola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71stth minute of the game Doriva Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga Bonito's Radomir Japola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Zbyszko Dula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Dula came free, but João Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Japola having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Dula. In the 86th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Teofila to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Belmiro Bertassi in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Joga Bonito's Sylwester Andrychowski. After some careless play in the Toa Toa 4EVER defense, Marcin Bartoszek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Freitas. The Toa Toa 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Freitas should have stopped the shot. Toa Toa 4EVER's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
