The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Doriva Alves's late challenge caught a Ekipa Damcia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Alves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ekipa Damcia booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 7th minute Hugon Nocny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio de Alcântara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. João Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Tylinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Belmiro Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kryspin Tylinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. João Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Freitas came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ekipa Damcia's Hugon Nocny. But to his dismay, Hugon Nocny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekipa Damcia's goalkeeper Kazimierz Terasek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Toa Toa 4EVER's Diguinho Nunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kazimierz Terasek. That made the score 1-2 after 40 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Jerzy Nowak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Freitas. That made the score 1-3 in the 51 minute of play. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Diguinho Nunes hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Ekipa Damcia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Jakubiak to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Terasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Quintal in the 58th minute of play. If Jailson Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Nocny came free, but João Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
