Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) When Ludomir Lisewski fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito's protests and gave Ludomir Lisewski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Ludomir Lisewski got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Radomir Japola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Pieknik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes, Zbyszko Dula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joga Bonito and the Squadra Demarchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Dula. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Kléber Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Demarchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Japola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radomir Japola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Queirós in the 11th minute of the match. Radomir Japola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Queirós in the 16th minute of play. Kléber Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Japola having to make a save. Alexsandro Britto struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Radomir Japola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra Demarchi. After 21 minutes, Ciro Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the Joga Bonito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Castro. If Zbyszko Dula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Ernesto Pereira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Joga Bonito's Radomir Japola. Radomir Japola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Kléber Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Radomir Japola. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Joga Bonito defense, Ernesto Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomir Japola. The Joga Bonito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Japola should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes in the game Wieslaw Szarmach did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zbyszko Dula. Oscar Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomir Lisewski in the 44th minute. Joga Bonito's Radomir Japola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Squadra Demarchi were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomir Lisewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ludomir Lisewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Oscar Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Samuel Ribeiro in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Joga Bonito's Wieslaw Szarmach. A nice corner shot did that Wieslaw Szarmach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute, Zbyszko Dula made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Saldanha. Squadra Demarchi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radomir Japola. That made the score 2-4 in the 71 minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Alexsandro Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga Bonito's Radomir Japola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zbyszko Dula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radomir Japola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Queirós in the 89th minute. Wladyslaw Teofila charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wladyslaw Teofila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Teofila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Claudinho Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radomir Japola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Britto in the 95th minute of play.
