The supporters of Grêmio Papão de WC booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Locatelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Aceto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Queiroz in the 14th minute of the match. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Ubriaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Amerigo La Penna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Moisés da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Grêmio Papão de WC got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Queiroz. In the 32nd minute, Horácio Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes, Clóvis Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio Papão de WC and the FC Mims players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Grêmio Papão de WC got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Alves. 42 minutes into the match, FC Mims's Alessio Ubriaco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Moisés da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Ubriaco.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Reis was the one to do the kick off.
