In the 13th match minute, Grêmio Papão de WC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes, Tracto's Edgardo Turi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Miranda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tracto reached it. Luiz Fábio Vinhas's late challenge caught a Tracto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fábio Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, one of Grêmio Papão de WC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grêmio Papão de WC. Carlos Fernando Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 26 minutes, Victorio Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Endira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Luiz Maia got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Amorim got free with Cayetano Bilbo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cayetano Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Amorim in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Eduardo Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Leoncio. After 55 played minutes Tracto got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Olivar. Sílvio Luís Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grêmio Papão de WC's Eduardo Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Papão de WC from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Miranda stood somewhat misplaced when Uriel Restu came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Dráuzio Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grêmio Papão de WC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dráuzio Queiroz hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Dadá Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cayetano Bilbo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Dadá Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Amorim couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Mamadou Saabøll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Miranda made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Simon Leoncio sent off a good shot on target. Mamadou Saabøll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Eduardo Miranda made a huge save. Eduardo Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Leoncio in the 92nd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
