NFC Eagles 22's Elbert Gulpen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Guillermo Oskarbi made a precise shot to the right of Elbert Gulpen. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to NFC Eagles 22 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sjef Meinders hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Klasen in the 15th minute of play forced Tracto's goalkeeper Apolo Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Niek Popping fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NFC Eagles 22's protests and gave Niek Popping a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Niek Popping hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Chepe in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Aureliano Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Mendebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Guillermo Oskarbi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elbert Gulpen, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Chepe in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elbert Gulpen saved NFC Eagles 22 from getting behind. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Iratxo in the 35th minute of the match. Elbert Gulpen was a little too slow when Primitivo Chepe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Oskarbi got free with Elbert Gulpen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the game, Ariel Iratxo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elbert Gulpen. Ariel Iratxo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. NFC Eagles 22's Elbert Gulpen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Elbert Gulpen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Oskarbi's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Heijer was the one to do the kick off. Victorio Endira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Chepe in the 56th minute of the match. Elbert Gulpen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jack Popping hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Sjef Meinders got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes, Tracto's Simon Leoncio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elbert Gulpen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tracto reached it. If Rafael Heijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Iratxo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Ariel Iratxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NFC Eagles 22's Elbert Gulpen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ariel Iratxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elbert Gulpen. NFC Eagles 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Iratxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 81 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Heijer. In the 85th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Klasen to maneuver through the defense. Elbert Gulpen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Iratxo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the game, Tracto's Guillermo Oskarbi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elbert Gulpen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When Niek Popping was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tracto booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niek Popping didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Tracto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
